Noble Air AI traffic thanks Ed
« on: December 29, 2011, 08:30:26 pm »
Well I see we now have 3 hubs that have got their act together and got all their flight schedules loaded into the pirep system. Thanks to Australia, Christchurch and the London hub for their hard work we will now be able to see Noble AI traffic when we land at any airport where any of their flights go to.

Pity that the american hubs did not get their act together and actually become part of the Noble group instead of just sitting back and doing nothing because that is the way it feels.

It seems to me that battle of the hubs etc only involves aussie NZ and UK.

I am beginning to feel that maybe we are the only hubs that want Noble Air to survive because I get the impression that the USA hubs are not really interested. Just looking at the websites for all the different hubs the only ones that are actually up to date are Aussie NZ and UK.
I joined this airline because I heard it was a go ahead airline but from what I have seen the only ones that are going anywhere are the 3 hubs that I have mentioned.

We hear nothing from the board about what is happening other than what we get told by our hub captain and as it is I believe the board have not actually sat since early this year.
This is not a good look when there are lots of people out in the flight sim arena who are looking for a virtual airline that is going somewhere.

The only good thing that I have seen come out of Noble is the great friends I have made in Aussie, NZ and the UK. The other good thing is the hard work that Ed Watson has put into the pirep system which from what I have seen with other airlines ours runs circles around them.

So come on USA get your act together and let us see all the scheduled flights for each hub in the pirep and then we will be able to load our AI for those hubs as well.

Also I think the board need to get together and make some decisions on the future of Noble and let the members know by a newsletter or email on a monthly basis what is happening like all the other virtual airlines are doing.

I look forward to seeing some progress in the very near future

Good post Geoff, I totally agree with what you say. Should be interesting as well to see what effect the new rules proposed by VATNZ regarding partner airlines will have on this VA.  ::)

Regards,
Gary.

Yer thanks mate they know that I am right but nothing will happen. I am just getting so frustrated in the fact everyone else wants the airline to go ahead except for the USA. Personally I think Aussie, NZ and UK should just break away and let the US fall apart as it seems that is what is happening but they are bringing the rest of the hubs down with them.
I have a lot of ideas but I know that for a start the yanks would not like them. It seems to be like in the real world the americans have to be the superpower and everyone else has to follow what they say but they expect everyone else to do the hard work.

Gary,
The VATNZ partner VA policy should have minimal effect on Noble Air's status as a partner VA.
If you take a look at the number of Noble Air pilots who have flown on VATSIM in just this month alone at vataware (http://www.vataware.com/airline.cfm?icao=NBL) you can see that we easily meet that requirement. The number of flights in VATNZ airspace in one month by Tony alone is almost double the requirement for 3 months by the whole VA.

Geoff,
I totally agree with you there. There are a number of hubs (particularly USA) that arent pulling their weight.

Good news in deed Philip. My main concern was that I thought that I read somewhere that apart from meeting a minimum monthly hour requirement, each partner VA needed to have a minimum of ten pilots flying on Vatsim during a month. Reading it through a second time, I am presuming that this requirement refers to the VA as a whole, not just hubs.

Gary.
