OPERATION DEEP FREEZE
« on: April 05, 2010, 11:49:34 am »

Starting from 2030 hrs UTC on the 17th April for our British and American pilots, and the 18th for our Antipidean pilots, the final stocking of the Antartic bases will commence from NZCH to NZCM (Chistchurch/McMurdo). Non Australian and New Zealand resident pilots may wish to leave earlier.

This run in the C130 takes 8 hours 13 minutes in favourable weather, which there is at present. This event is to be run on VATSIM. Come on along and practice your ice landings - can prove to be rather exciting. Don't use your brakes: this is all about control using engines only.

Record this flight as a "Challenge Flight". You can bet your life it will be.
