Wilco E170/E190 repaint?
« on: October 24, 2010, 09:34:27 pm »
Hi Guys
Been flogging around a bit in the Wilco E190 this weekend. Does anyone know of a Noble Air repaint for this bird? I feel a bit uncomfortable flying a Noble Air route in Virgin Blue livery ;)
If I can find a paint kit for it, happy to give it a shot... :o
Cheers
Mark

I'll see if I can find a paint kit Mark. I love these birds too and like you, would prefer a Noble livery to the Virgin jobs.

Thanks for that Tony
I spent a few hours giving a Swissair E190 a quick "white-over" the other night. Hopefully I'll get stuck into putting a bit of "Noble" paint on it this weekend.

Hi Mark,i actually finished a paint for the 170 but i scrapped it.The reason being that the stripes on the Noble livery did not line up on the nose of the aircraft  perfectly ,i worked on trying to fix this but no matter what i did the two stripes did not line up perfectly.I put this down to a fault in the paint kit something i have no control over so i gave up on it ,the wilco paint kits are very hard to work with i have only done one paint and that is for the wilco A321 cheers Phill

Thanks for your reply Phill
I tried as well..didn't get anywhere as far as you. Shame, as it is a very nice looking bird.
