AAAAhhh yes, The much loved Checkerboard Approach to Rwy13 at Kai Tak. Truly a good day out eh Mark, particularly after throwing caution to the wind and getting down low enough to find the bloody checkerboard, let alone being able to see and follow the lead in lights.   :'(

A base leg flown at 700 feet at a minimum speed of 180 knots in a heavy, surrounded by suburban Hong Kong, is certainly a new experience for me.   :o

The scenery we are using is the Fly Tampa Hong Kong (Kai Tak) package, and it is so well done that it really adds a feeling of realism to the experience. If you are into a bit of butt clentching flying, then this is most definately for you.

Regards,
Gary.
