Flying Hours
« on: October 11, 2011, 02:45:40 pm »
In fairness to all pilots.

It has been noted that some pilots are booking in excess of 24 hours flight time in a day on a regular basis and fuel figures are unrealistic by anywhere up to 100000 pounds. These figures are false figures and will not be tolerated. This is achieving nothing except the contempt of your fellow crew dogs. Part of the Christchurch Hub Charter was that all flights be flown either on VATSIM or FSHost. This is used as a verification of hours logged when the PIREP system may be down for any reason.

I, and my assistant Hub Captains do not wish to enforce this rule, but if this practice continues, we will.

In fairness to all our VATSIM crews, If you are not at your controls, you are not flying. On VATSIM it is permissable outside of controlled airspace to leave your SIM for no longer than 30 minutes. This rule will also apply here for all flights.

There will be no discussion entered into about this.
