How is this so!
« on: October 13, 2011, 02:32:53 pm »
Aircraft flies 11hrs 29min burning 241050lbs of fuel. At a standard conversion of 1 U.S. gallon = 6.75lbs = 35,711 U.S. Gallons. (Temperature dependant)
The aircraft in question can only hold:- Maximum Fuel Capacity    23,980 U.S. gal.

Distance travelled for route would be 7063 nm with time using the great circle route of 15hrs 15min

Aircraft in question has a range of:- Maximum Range    5,990 nm

How could this happen  ???
