Hello Mark, there is one sure way of fixing the problem & that is to re-install FS2004.Everytime i have had a problem with FS2004 it has always been scenery related.Don't know if deleting your existing fs9cfg would fix the problem,it wouldn't hurt to try "Path= system(c)/Documents and settings/User/Application Data/Microsoft/FS9/".Working back from the problem would be another way,try to figure out which scenery caused the problem and delete it and go back to the default scenery,if you backed up your scenery cfg replace it with the default maybe,i have one if you need it.The fact that the scenery is going orange could very well be an issue with the graphic's card as Tony said, roll back the driver or "change the card".For what it's worth ,remove the fan of the cpu & clean all the dust from the veins & the fan itself, then remove the graphics card and clean all the dust from the fan. After doing all that you will be surprised how well FS2004 will perform.Make sure you De-static yourself first though "just run both hands over the top of the case".
