Great, that is exactly what i did. Turns out i may have made it without stopping in Townsville for gas but i wanted to see the MRH90 flying around there and i was getting bored anyway so the approach and departure spiced things up a bit.

In the next few days i may be off the net for a wee bit as i rebuild my system. Hopefully this will help stop the numerous times it hangs, crashes and closes FSX or the frame rates drop so much it is unflyable. I go from 30+ FPS at the start to about 25FPS by the time i taxi ( some add on aircraft are even worse) and by the time i finish a 3 hour flight i am down to single digits at times.

I am going to go from Dual Core 3.0 LGA775 with 4 Gb Ram to an i7 3.4 Quad with 16 Gb Ram and a nVidia 580TXi video card. Hopefully i can run FSX at close to full settings. At the moment it is about mid range on most sliders.

With luck all the parts will be here by the time i get home from work tomorrow and the transplant will go smoothly.
